A training workshop titled 'Keyword Sequence Importance (KSI): A Novel Writing Module for Quality Publication and Plagiarism Reduction' was held at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET). The workshop took place on Sunday (17 August) at the university hall room, organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. S M Abdur Razzak attended the program as the chief guest. Thanking the resource person and participating teachers, the Vice-Chancellor said, 'Such training plays a significant role in enhancing the quality of articles and thesis papers written by academicians.'
The resource person of the workshop was Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin, Associate Professor at the Department of Land Management, Faculty of Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He discussed various aspects of applying the KSI technique in research writing, evaluating quality articles, formulating research methodology, presenting results, and reducing plagiarism.
The training workshop was presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Emdadul Hoque, Director of IQAC, RUET, and was attended by faculty members from all departments of the university.
